Our mission is to advance a scientific and public understanding of the importance of seed dispersal for biodiversity. CoDisperse aims to promote collaboration across a large group of scientists working at different scales, in different bioregions, using a wide arsenal of tools. Through new, interdisciplinary collaborations among researchers and practitioners, CoDisperse aims to integrate disparate research streams and conduct actionable and transformative research to advance our global understanding of seed dispersal. This will promote actionable research by linking researchers with stakeholders who have diverse priorities with respect to management, conservation, and policy, informing the development of effective conservation and management strategies and policies to mitigate the impacts of global change. CoDisperse aims to increase public awareness of seed dispersal through engagement with education and the public.
